Therefore, about half of the diffraction images are empty, but thanks to efficient compression, this does (almost) not increase the size of the final dataset. - The HDF5 metadata indicates continuous omega rotation during the datasets, because the goniometer was constantly rotating and in fact triggered the recording of diffraction images, but the microfluidic device was not attached to the goniometer, and therefore these omega angles are meaningless.
